In these days of double-digit health benefits cost increases, business owners increasingly view complementary health benefits as a positive way to enhance their employee benefits package at a relatively low cost compared to traditional medical options. At the same time, employers can soften the impact of rising medical costs, which impact the bottom line.
Through alliance partners that specialize in wellness services and programs, Alliant Employee Benefits provides a wide range of health benefits, health education, and affinity network programs to employer groups, trust funds, health plans, and insurance carriers.
Some of the most popular programs provide chiropractic and manual manipulation, acupuncture, massage therapy, naturopathy, dietetic counseling, weight management, and tobacco cessation, as well as vitamins and minerals and other health products. With providers contracted across the U.S., our clients have access to the nation’s largest complementary healthcare network to support these programs.
Employer groups are able to purchase complementary health benefits as a supplemental group rider, similar to purchasing vision or dental coverage, and can choose from some 15 different combinations of complementary health benefits. Employers also can choose whether to offer an out-of-network benefit since both an EPO (in-network benefits only) and a PPO (in- and out-of-network benefits) design is available.
Benefits programs are available to large group employers with 51 or more employees. Not all benefits programs are offered in all states.
